We need to talk about the formats and provide alternatives.
I like this so far. I understand that more complex pages (WARPAC/Soviet/Weapons, WARPAC/Soviet/Uniforms) will pose a bit of a challenge. To help alleviate some of that, perhaps putting this out there: Since the Soviets are the only EW force that have a "gold standard" where we have acceptable items, and the be-all-and-end-all-dead-perfect example, the perfect item (an AKS74, or an M88 Afghanka) should be the top/prominent item, with acceptable substitutes (an AK74, or VSR) being listed immediately thereafter, to include it's own reference picture. That's not to say establishing this standard wouldn't work for other units with similar options (NATO/US/M16A2, with the A1 and A3 as acceptable) but it seems like us Soviets are causing a lot of the problems! :P
I also get things like VSR are considered equal to the M88 Afghanka, but with the design restrictions featuring only 1 prominent main item at the top, then it's simply a coin toss as to which one you would want to place emphasis on. Hell, with the price of Afghanka going way up, it may end up that VSR is on top, literally and figuratively. Coop (talk) 22:30, 6 September 2013 (MST)
