The PASGT helmet is the standard helmet for US troops at East Wind. The helmet is not only part of the look but is also a key piece of safety gear that you will be glad you had on when that errant branch smacks you in the head as you are riding through the woods in a truck. Helmets also allow easy attachment of night vision devices.

  • Helmets must be fitted with a cover as well as a cat eye band.
  • Replica helmets are not an acceptable as they are of inferior quality and would prevent you from fitting night vision units when required.
  • The MICH/ACH helmet is NOT acceptable.
  • The modern USMC light weight PASGT style helmet is acceptable.
  • Upgraded PASGT helmets with aftermarket suspensions or pad systems are acceptable.

Selecting your helmet

  • Note that PASGT helmets come in different sizes so you will want to make sure that you are shopping for the correct size. Read about the sizing system in This is Your Ballistic Helmet and make the right purchase the first time.
